RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include commercialism and the media, popular music culture, social issues in entertainment television and the politics of representation. I am currently working with Dr Claire Wardle (Cardiff University) on the ESRC-funded project Social Issues in Primetime Television: Production Processes and Audience Responses.
