Research Centres
Research Centres operate as fora for the exchange and dissemination of ideas. They pursue a focused and specialised research agenda, and their primary objective is to produce high-quality research in a specialised area of enquiry. Their key functions can be summarised as follows:
- Generate externally funded research projects (even though there might be times when a centre doesn’t hold a research grant);
- Produce publications based on these projects;
- Organise events of national/international significance;
- Establish collaboration beyond ICS (within and/or outside UoL)
